Windows 7 and Windows 8 which is better

Windows 7 and Windows 8 which is better-While we compare the operating system speed and application compatibility,  we do not find difference and considerable changes in Windows 7 and Windows 8. The main difference may be the appearance which may not be the right path for every one. But if such a giant production house and a market leader like Microsoft Corporation launches a new or an improved product in the world market, some thing new will certainly be there. A majority of PC users use internet and it is their opinion that among all the editions of Microsoft windows, Windows XP is best for network use. It is strange that Microsoft Corporation is removing this edition from the market. Previously they decided to stop giving online updates for windows XP from April 2014, though now this date has been extended till July 2015. The main difference between Windows 7 and 8 windows are-

 1.     Start Menu-The Start Menu which was accessed by clicking an icon in the bottom left corner the screen, to search programs and files to open, or click shortcuts for the ones used most, pinned inside the menu itself has been changed in windows 8 in to live tiles. If you are not very familiar with the keyboard shortcuts it may create a headache, because while working you will not be able to see your desktop and need to minimize the open programs.
2.    Live Tiles- A majority of users is of the opinion that this feature alone is a sufficient reason to prefer windows 7.
3.    Charms Bar-Instead of start menu a charms bar appears in the right side of screen to shut down and use other tools such as Search etc.
4.    Internet Explorer- There are two versions of Internet Explorer 10 includes in Windows 8, one which opens from a tile on the Start screen and another which looks like version 9 and opens from an icon on the Desktop.
5.    Pin to Start Menu- Programs can be pinned to the taskbar by right clicking your mouse on an icon in the taskbar and choosing Pin this program to taskbar.
6.    People App.- Instead of having separate contacts for email, Skype and social networking like Facebook, a new app 'People' is provided to find all your contacts together in.
7.    Windows Defender-In Windows 8 an antivirus Software called ‘Windows Defender’  is included.
8.    Closing programs-No need to close programs by clicking a X in the corner, just press the Windows key on your keyboard to return to the Start Screen. An app can also be closed by dragging it down with your mouse from the top of the screen, holding down left button or with your finger in case of a touch screen
9.    Metro- When you start Windows 8, the first screen you see is ‘Start Screen’,  it is also known as ‘Metro’.
10. Well-optimized for older machines- Windows 8 is well-optimized for older machines, but the performance differences between 7 and 8 on modern high-end computers, where it is noteworthy. Difference is only notable on benchmark tests, but no significant increase or decrease is there to justify.
