1.                  Click on the image if it is a new post and if it is an existing post open it in edit mode and then click on the image. Now the following menu under the image will appear.


2.                  Click on ‘properties’. Now the ‘Alt Text’ menu will appear as given below.



3.                  Please enter the ‘Alt Text’ as indicated.

Always Add a caption under your Image


Though a caption under an image in a blog post does not have any direct impact on the search ranking etc. but it has direct impact on bounce rate. Adding a caption under a blog post image is neither a difficult nor a time consuming task.

How to add ‘caption’ to a Blog Post Image


1.                  Click on the image if it is a new post and if it is an existing post open it in edit mode and then click on the image. 

2.                  Click on ‘Add Caption’.


3.                  Now you can write a caption, the caption you write will appear under the image and will be centered automatically.

Keep the image file size as small as possible.


As we all know that large files take much time to load and if your blog does not load fast, your viewers will leave it and go to another blog which you certainly will not like. Therefore, keep the size of your image as small as possible but this must be without compromising with the quality of it.
